What you can do to keep informed

  1. We recommend that you join our email distribution list to receive Crime Alerts.  (You’ll also receive RCPOA event emails — as a volunteer organization we don’t keep separate distribution lists).  To be added to our email list, contact RCPOA.Secretary@rcpoa.net with the subject line “RCPOA Email Distribution List”.
  2. We recommend that you join Nextdoor.com to get updates from your neighbors.
Click here for tips on enhancing your Nextdoor.com experience.
  3. We recommend that you sign up for Crime Alerts in our area from CrimeMapping.com and/or CrimeReports.com.
Click here for more information about CrimeMapping.com.
  4. We recommend that you sign up for Nixle Alerts.
Click here for more information about Nixle.
  5. Check the GPD Live Calls for Service Log at https://performance.glendaleca.gov/reports/City-of-Glendale-Live-Calls-for-Service.
Click here for more information about this service.
  6. Click here for helpful tips from the GPD.
  7. VERY IMPORTANT — Notify your Neighbors!  If you know of any neighbors who don’t have email, are not on Nextdoor.com, or are likely unaware of any current crime trends in our neighborhood, please let them know of any crime alerts.  Even if you print out an email alert or Nextdoor post and put it in their mailboxes, that will help!
  8. Help us to help you.  With the latest crime trends, many people on Nextdoor have proposed solutions such as becoming a gated community or securing private security patrols for our neighborhood.  We have formed a Neighborhood Security Committee to research the options and find solutions that will work for our neighborhood.  If you would like to be a part of that committee, please contact Armine Perian with the subject line “Neighborhood Security Committee”.
